Can you believe that the year is already over?
First off, I want to thank everybody at Stangen for the hard work this year. I have the fortunate role of building products, but you guys need to get up every day and position these products. Thanks for finding the energy to do that week in and week out.
The highlight for me was the introduction of our Funeral Cover product (aka multi-life funeral abv MLF). The product was developed for the CRM platform, and we wanted to build a slick process offering clients funeral cover that is not a one-size-fits-all.
We know we aren’t selling our products to robots, and that every client is unique. We believe our funeral cover reflects that.
On our traditional funeral product (ie the Exergy platform) we created a dependents income benefit to upsell to existing clients. This is a benefit that will pay a monthly income to the client’s dependents on the death of the policyholder.
The initial take-up of this benefit has exceeded our expectations with only 2 agents on the campaign, totalling 300 sales in just under a month! That’s 50 sales per agent per month…
Finally, I would like to touch on our Premium Holiday benefit and the addition of our Retrenchment Cover offering.
In our personal experiences, we know that no two months are the same. We’ve come up with premium holiday benefit that gives a client a premium holiday in the 11th and 12th month of their policy year.
Retrenchment cover was another product enhancement we managed to squeeze in this year. Added to your Salary Protection benefit, this add-on offers an extra layer of protection in a tough economic climate.
